The Annual Summer UK Bugei Course was held at the weekend in Morecambe. Hosted by Professor Andy Manwaring 8th Dan of the Red Rose Bushido Club, with martial arts instructors from various styles of Martial Arts which included Ju-Jitsu, Hapkido, Karate and Hapjitsu.  A group of six made the trip to the course to teach and learn.

Before the course started on the Saturday morning there was an announcement of  Dan grades.  Sensei Derek White was awarded his 6^th Dan, and Professors’ Mark Noble and Andy Manwaring were both awarded their 9^th Dan, a true testament to their dedication and commitment to the teaching and training of Ju-Jitsu.

The course, which was held over the two days, gave students of the martial arts an opportunity to learn from other martial arts Instructors also which included Professor Paul Geoghegan 10th, Master Mark Gaitens 9th Dan, Professor Mark Noble 8th Dan, Professor Andy Manwaring 8th Dan, Master Stephen Black 7th Dan, Sensei Paul Nelis 7th Dan, Simon Moorby 7th Dan, Sensei Chris Mather 6th Dan, Sensei Ian Cottam 5th Dan and Sensei Ian Wright 3rd Dan.
